Tauranga trainer Antony Fuller has been chasing a victory in the Seeka Kiwifruit Cup for several years, and his talented stayer Khan Hunter got the job done in style 🤩

In the hands of apprentice jockey Maria Sanson the son of Mongolian Khan travelled strongly along the back straight and powered away under little pressure by 3 ¾ lengths.

“I wanted this race, I’ve tried to win it for years and I thought I had a horse that could do it, so we’ll have a go,” he said.

A great way to start 2024. Although not a win, such a tough effort for 2nd and we are SO proud of Khan today in the G3 Queen Elizabeth. Big thanks to Joe Doyle for skipping Xmas dinner and probably every other meal this week!.. enjoy a few days at the beach ⛱️
