Announcement - Rewa and Districts Sports heading into recess

With regret the committee wish to inform everyone that the decision was made to put Rewa and Districts Sports into recess until further notice.

Despite the call out and a few interested people, we didn’t have anyone come forward onto the committee with fresh energy to help run the show.

We will not be running this year. We will put the call out this time next year if anyone wants to take over, otherwise we will be folding the group up.

Thank you to everyone for their support over the last 65 sports days.

Many of our sports days and shows are under threat by the lack of volunteers. Please, if you want the sport to stay alive then make sure you put your hand up and volunteer on a local committee.

We need your help now more than ever.

We are in desperate need of people to join our small committee otherwise there is the very real chance the upcoming Rewa and Districts Sports will be our last. We have a few people moving out of area and need committed people to get in behind the show.

Your expertise could range from showing, jumping, course building, man power, organizational skills etc! All we require is a passion to help and work as a team to make Rewa and Districts Sports the best that it can be 🙂

We are meeting in Hunterville at the Station Hotel on Tuesday the 8th at 6:30pm. All welcome, message the page if you want anymore details about who we are and what we do.

🏆 SHOW HUNTER SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD 🏆
We have loved hearing the results from our Carousel Equestrian Amateur high point series and seeing all the supportive comments for your fellow competitors. So we’ve decided to give away a $150 voucher for an amazing display of sportsmanship during ANY ESNZ Show Hunter event.
