Alfie likes to get out onto the field early, putting in extra reps with his box kicks and passing from the base to make sure he's dialled in before kickoff.

"Focus on what you can control and let the rest happen." Wise words from his mum that have become his mindset every time he pulls on the jersey, helping keep him calm under pressure.

Our 2026 NZ Marist U23 Development side is set to take the field for the first time as they kick off the tour against the King Country Big Horns this afternoon in Taupō.
