✔️The 2025 Papakaio Social Squash Tournament is done and dusted for another year!

✨We had a great turn out and an even better couple of days of squash and social evenings. List of winners below:

Tuesday night squash is back for 2024!

Casual social night this Tuesday (5-3-24). Anyone thinking about giving it a go, whether you have played before or not feel free to come down to the Papakaio community hall tomorrow evening from 6pm and have a hit.

Pennant nights starting Tuesday 15th March. Running for approx 5 weeks. All ages and abilities welcome to join. Get in touch with our page or Matt Dalziel if you are interested.

CLUB CHAMPS 🥇🏆

This coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday we are holding our Club Champs!

Anyone is welcome to come down and watch, and on Saturday evening we will have a licensed bar so that you can have a beverage whilst watching some great finals squash action!

Date: 26th - 28th October

Eligibility: Played Papakaio Pennant in 2023 or a paid up Papakaio Hall Member

Cost: $25 which includes food on the Saturday evening. Payment upon entry with reference “Club Champs”

Availability: One game on either Thursday or Friday evening, and two games throughout Saturday - please specify if you can’t do a Thursday or a Friday)

Entries are limited to 48 people (men and woman with 6 different grades) so get in quick.

Licensed cash bar, NO Eftpos available

Our Wednesday Night pennant is shifting back to Thursday Nights at 7pm for Term 3! Dates as follows:

✨ 20th July - Casual social night / free coaching (optional for those who are keen!)

✨ 27th July - Start of Pennant 3

✨ 24th August - Week off

✨ 21st Sept - Final night of Pennant 3

What an awesome few days we had at our first Annual Papakaio Open Squash Tournament!

Thanks to all the competitors for coming along and to our committee for organising everything, let’s do it all again next year!

Also a huge thank you to Piper Beach, Jeff and Tessa Wright and Mark and Katrina Gibbins for doing the bar/canteen for us 🙌🏼🍻

Here are the draws for our tournament this week! A huge thanks to Matt Dalziel for doing this tedious job.

As you will see the first round games are split between Thursday and Friday night.

Remember to please stick around and umpire the game afterwards.

The $40 entry fee can be paid to the squash bank account 06-0941-0016055-00, can you please make this transaction separately and the use reference “Tournament”.

We will also have a canteen running where you can purchase food, and don’t forget the meal on Saturday night along with prizegiving.
