Our heartfelt condolences go out to Gaye and her whanau with the passing of our Bay of Islands Hockey Patron Laurie Byers.
Laurie has been involved in hockey for many years, as a player, coach and committee member. He was the driving force behind the building of the Kaikohe Hockey Turf.
We thank Laurie for his commitment to hockey and the community of Kaikohe. He will be fondly remembered by many.

Year 5 and 6 Hockey Trial
We have an Inter-association tournament coming up on Sunday 11th August 2024 in Whangarei. We are holding a trial to select a Year 5 and 6 Girls team and a Year 5 and 6 Boys Team, next Saturday 27th July at 2.30pm. If your child is interested in trialing please complete the following form.

The Bay of Islands Hockey Association will be participating in the Inter-Association Tournament in Whangarei on 11th August 2024. We will be holding a trial for all Year 5 and 6 players interested in representing Bay of Islands at this tournament. The trial will take place on Saturday 27th July at 2...

LIGHTS UPDATE
Good morning everyone, We have woken to an email from the lights people letting us know that they will now not be able to start until next Monday as they have had issues with the truck. This means all turf use is back on this week and we will be urgently looking to reinstate our night games on Wednesday and Thursday.
Collegiate Games to be played on Wednesday will be
KKHC Red vs KKHC Black at 5.30pm
Northland College Sharks vs Springbank School at 6.30pm
Open Grade Games to be played on Thursday will be Springbank vs Kerikeri Hockey Club at 6pm
Okaihau Hockey Club vs Kaikohe Hockey Club at 7.20pm
