✅ IT'S OFFICIAL – SATURDAY & SUNDAY RUGBY LEAGUE IS GOING AHEAD!

Kia ora whānau,

Thank you for your patience while we waited for confirmation. We have now received confirmation that this weekend's rugby league games are going ahead at Hopuhopu.

As always, every game takes a team effort both on and off the field, and we need your support to help make the weekend run smoothly.

🙌 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are looking for volunteers to help with:

🦺 Field Marshals
• One Field Marshal is required per day from each club
• Supports safe and smooth game-day operations

💛 Sideline Ambassadors
• Promote positive and respectful behaviour
• Encourage good sportsmanship from players and supporters
• Help create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone

🪙 Gold Coin Koha at the Gate
• One gold coin donation per vehicle
• NOT per person
• All koha collected will go towards the groups managing and monitoring the car park

🩷 Pink – WJRL Executives
💛 Yellow – Team Ambassadors
🧡 Orange – Car Park & Koha Collection Staff & Field Marshals

🌧 Weather Update
At this stage, we have not been notified of any weather-related cancellations. If conditions change, WJRL usually makes that decision around 7:00am on Saturday morning.

If I receive any cancellation updates, I will post them here immediately. If you do not hear anything from me, please assume games are proceeding as scheduled.
