Volunteer Club Maintenance Champion Needed!

Are you handy with tools and love giving back to your community? Ngaruawahia Rugby Sports Club is looking for a Volunteer "Club Maintenance Champion" to help keep our club in top shape!

What’s involved?
- Quick fixes around the club (leaky tap, loose hinges, minor repairs, etc.)
- General upkeep to ensure our facilities stay clean and safe
- A few hours a week to keep things running smoothly

Why volunteer?
- Be a key part of our club’s success
- Work in a fun, community-focused environment
- Perfect for someone who enjoys DIY and helping out

Our Clydesdales are into action this weekend with their annual 10 Aside tournament, hosted by Ngaruawahia Rugby Sports Club - Seniors for 2024.
This tournament is set on the (week)eve of competition and gets most if not all of the sides together and ready for the 2024 season.

The horses are on the look out for some new faces two join the stable this year, so if you or someone you know is 35ish+ and looking to keep playing, then the Presidents grade is for you.
No pushing in scrums, no territory kicks, rolling subs, and shorter matches make for fun games full of action and full of comeraderie.

🌱 Exciting Update! 🌿

Big things are happening on our fields during the off-season! Starting this week, the Waikato District Council kicks off the Turf Renovation Project for both our Rugby Union and Turangawaewae Rugby League fields. 🏉🏟️

Now, here's the catch: 🚫 For the next 6 weeks, we'll need to give our fields some TLC, which means no sports activities until mid-November. 🙅‍♂️🙅‍♀️

But hang tight, because we can't wait to get back to the action with our social touch and soccer games! 🤩 We'll keep you in the loop with all the updates, so stay tuned for more news on our field's grand comeback! 🌟⚽
