Friday night saw the last of the Fugro Girls Junior rugby. Well done to both NPOB teams, you did yourselves proud.

Aaaand just when we thought Junior rugby was over for the season, later this week our Ferdie 7 and 8 players head to Taupō to play in the NZ Junior Rugby Festival. Safe travels, play hard and all the best for a big three days of rugby!

Some things are bigger than club colours and the rivalry on the field.

Orisi Belau and his family are going through a tough time, and this is one of those moments where the rugby community comes together and gets behind one of our own.

Our fierce Ferdie 3/4 girls were down in Hawera on Friday night. Each week these girls build and grow in confidence, skill and understanding of the game. The real highlight for this season however, is the support and encouragement they have for one another.

This Friday is the last round for the Fugro Girls Rugby, when our girls get a home game at Vogeltown Park.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our NPOB Junior Rugby Ferdie 1-6 prizegiving over the weekend. It was fantastic to see so many of our players, coaches, managers, parents and whānau there to celebrate the season together.

Congratulations to all those who received awards - what an achievement and well deserved 👏🏼

We would also like to thank our incredible coaches, managers and volunteers for the time and dedication you give to our junior players. None of this would happen without you.

And we’re not quite finished yet! We look forward to celebrating our Ferdie 7/8 teams on Saturday 5th September.
