2020 saw the best themed team prize go to Okato Vets' "Totally Udder Control" For their efforts they won a team Buffet at Gengy's Mongolian BBQ Restaurant

Ever since 2011 when a composite team Electrical was the first team to finish the Steelformers Around The Mountain Relay the event has been dominated by 2 running teams Hawera Harriers and in recent times@Body Logic This year these 2 teams have agreed to start approx 2 hours behind the running teams which will allow several teams the chance to gain line honours in this years event. The first 2 teams over the line this year will receive Big Naki and Land Planks from The Crowded House.. Big shoutout to the House for their continued support of our event. If you need a few tips or a new pair of shoes pop into who will help get you set for this years event.

UPDATE!

Unfortunately we have decided to cancel the event that was to be held November 5th & 6th. As we are still in fluctuating levels and due to the ongoing Covid19 infections there is too much uncertainty as to when we will be in level 1. We will be holding the event next year and will keep everyone updated.
