New Plymouth ShinKyokushin Karate We teach personal safety to the community - karate and kick boxing training for fitness and confide First 2 lessons are free trial lessons.

Location: Merrilands School Hall Monday and Wednesday evening (Juniors 6pm-7pm, Adults 7pm-8.30pm). Joining info: Feel free to visit one of our training sessions and just watch. You'll be made welcome and can chat with us before or after training. If you're wanting to have a free trial lesson it's probably best to contact us first. Casual loose fitting clothing is fine for newcomers. Head Instruct

General info: ShinKyokushin evolved out of Kyokushin karate (shin is Japanese for 'new') and is now the most popular form of karate in the world. It will be an Olympic sport from 2020.
