New Plymouth Old Boys Cricket Club has had a long and proud history with many of our clubs members past and present sharing a great love of cricket and farming. The club is constantly looking to develop our home at all levels to continue offering a wonderful experience for all our players from junior teams through to senior men’s and women’s teams and would greatly appreciate any of our wider faming connection who can help out . 2025-26 Season club Prize giving.

Another big season has come to an end , this Sunday 12th April at 3pm -5pm at ATE 41 we will celebrate the team and individual achievements for all teams in the senior club . All players , supporters and sponsors are invited , platters and nibbles will be provided and the bar open before the awards are presented for performance and hard work on and off the playing field .

Wasn’t to be today unfortunately the guys came up short , congratulations to NP Marist United on the win a game played in good competitive spirit on a spicy deck at Puke. Thanks to all of our supporters and sponsors for another great season , the club is in good heart , great culture all the way through the playing group , supporters and families who are enjoying celebrating the season together tonight. At the end of day 1 of the final TCA 2 day championship round the Merit RV NPOBCC Premiers are in a good position vs Hawera and by picking up 11 points have secured their spot in the TCA 3 day final. After being made to work hard to bowl Hawera out with the immovable Trent McGrath making an unbeaten 50 , Jordan Gard led the attack with an impressive 5 wicket bag . The team then got through an impressive early spell by Shay Smith to pass Hawera’s total for a crucial 5 points for 1st innings , ending the day on 216/5 with Ben Mitchell and Ben Frewin both unbeaten on 72 and 35 respectively. Jack Parker made a well compiled 50 at the top of the order . Next week the team will try to push to the 300 required for maximum batting bonus points and if they can will look to declare as the opportunity for an extra 3 outright points could be crucial for the final points table in an attempt to finish on top .
