CAMP CHEF

We're looking for an energetic, positive, and outgoing person to join our team on a seasonal basis.
We are looking for someone who knows their way around a kitchen and is capable of making tasty food for various events, such as school camps, training sessions, corporate events and weddings.
Basic tasks (but not limited too).
• The ability to deliver excellent customer service – we want our clients to leave with a smile and recommend us to anyone
• Have high standards – cleanliness and food taste
• Be flexible with your work hours and our timetable – some weekend work might be required
• Must like working with Children

We are seeking a passionate, caring person interested in becoming a seasonal instructor at Vertical Horizon Adventure Centre. The role is varied and will include mainly instructing on our High Ropes activities, Zipline, Kayaks and Archery with school camps along with some general maintenance around Camp if needed.

The role is hands-on to deal with all tasks undertaken in the daily routine at camp. It goes without saying exceptional interpersonal skills are at the forefront of who we are, and what we are looking for in applicants.

The position requires well developed interpersonal skills with a passion for children and the outdoors. You must be comfortable and confident with public speaking; therefore, a high level of communication skills is required. A mature outlook, ability to work in a small team, flexibility and leadership are needed. We operate Monday-Friday and some weekends if required.
