The New Plymouth Sportfishing & Underwater Club was formed in 1995 as a result of the merging of the New Plymouth Underwater and the Taranaki Cruising and Sportfishing Clubs. The clubrooms were extended in 2009 and further modernised in 2019. The club is based at the Habourview Clubrooms on Oceanview Parade, New Plymouth, New Zealand. New Plymouth is on the West coast of the North Island at Latitu

de: -39.06 (39°03'36"S) Longitude: +174.08 (174°04'48"E). The Clubrooms encompass a large Lounge Bar and Club Bar, 2 separate rooms that can be opened into one large area. Both Areas have separate entrance, bar and toilet facilities with Marlins café located in the Lounge bar. The Club bar is open from 3.00pm seven days a week. Café / Restaurant is open Thursday to Sunday every week.
