Nag ‘N’ Noggin Premiers are through to the 3 Day Final at Pukekura Park. 🌿

NPMU lost 3 quick wickets, with Daniel Bernet (Cody Macdonald Builders) finishing 56*. Defending 350, Stratford were all out for 248. Josh Barrett (The Boat Shop New Plymouth) picked up 4 wickets, supported by Bernet and Jack Southern (AJD Plumbing and Gas ltd) who both claimed two a piece.

The Minotaurs will take on NPOB, starting this Friday.

Get along and support the lads as they push to defend the 3 Day title.

A day with the bat. 🦇

Nag ‘N’ Noggin NPMU won the toss and elected to bat. Momentum ebbed and flowed throughout the 104 overs on a, as per usual, nice Stratford wicket. In the end, the Premiers would finish the day 342/7.

A good old fashioned day of red ball toil with beers well earned.

Nag ‘N’ Noggin Premiers gain outright. 🌵

Needing 3 wickets, Angus Frew and Josh Barrett wrapped up 1st innings after a delayed start on Saturday. With 80 overs left in the day, NPMU batted 37 of them, setting Hawera 211 from 41 overs. Lenny Chapman top scoring with 60*.

Needing to gain points from the match to stay in the finals hunt, Hawera gave it a shot, eventually being dismissed with under an hour to spare. Robbie Yule the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets and Frew with 3 to give him 5 for the match.
