🌟 Teacher Training with Anabela 🌟

Last week we had the absolute pleasure of learning with anabela.rea, diving deeper into key concepts of body movement, body mechanics and sensual movement.

It was a great opportunity to challenge our thinking, refine our teaching and gain new tools to help our students (and ourselves) move with greater awareness and confidence ❤️

A big focus of the session was the importance of safety, correct technique and body awareness when teaching, learning and dancing sensual movement - ensuring that movement is comfortable, controlled and respectful - for you and everyone you dance with 👌

A huge thank you to Anabela for sharing her knowledge, experience and expertise with us 🙏

We’re excited to bring our new learning into the studio from this week 🤩

🔥 WHAT A WEEKEND! 🔥

We had the absolute pleasure of heading to Auckland for the Bachata Weekender, hosted by Dance Mafia - and WOW, what an experience! 🤩

A huge thank you to all the incredible instructors who shared their knowledge, passion and expertise with us. We learned SO much and can’t wait to take that learning to our students! 💓

Our favourite thing about the weekend was the people. The warmth and welcome from the Dance Mafia team, the professionalism of the instructors, and how friendly and supportive everyone was made the weekend so special.

And the social dancing… 😍
We loved the connection, respect and fun on the dance floor! 💃🕺

Weekends like this remind us how lucky we are to be part of such an amazing NZ Latin dance community. Opportunities to learn from such incredibly talented dancers and teachers, has helped our little regional dance school come so far.

It also reinforces our vision for where we’re heading with our students - continuing to learn, grow and bring the very best we can back to our wonderful Alegria community ❤️

We’re so excited to share what we learned with you all! 🙌
