he Waitara Annual Wild Boar Hunt Starts 30th May 2024, weigh in day Sunday 2nd June from 12 - 3.00pm

$100 per team min/max 3 people, entry fee can be paid online

Free Kids competitions for 0 - 9s and 10 - 15 year olds, register on Sunday June 2nd when you weigh in
Buds Buds playing from 7.30pm
Rules:
• Boars only, no sows or barrows eligible
• Minimum weight 30kgs
• All pigs must be fit for human consumption. No decomposing pigs. Mutilated pigs can be weighed in but will not be displayed.
• No frozen pigs although pigs may have been in the chiller, no singed pigs.
• All pigs must be wild. That is born in the wild, lived throughout the wild and caught in the wild. No domesticated pigs.
• All pigs must be taken within the advertised times of the competition.
• Testicles must be left in or still attached by cords.
• All offal must be removed.
• Pigs must be weighed in, in one piece, head intact.
• If an entrant has a pig rejected because it contravenes the rules, then all pigs weighed in by that entrant may be rejected.
• If two pigs are the same weight or measurement the first pig weighed or measured takes the superior prize.
• The organisers accept no liability for any damage or loss of property or injury to any persons.
• All entrants go into the draw to win spot prizes, but the entrant must be present at the venue to win and uplift the prize when the prize is drawn. An entrant’s failure to be present will result in the spot prize being redrawn. Spot prizes drawn on Sunday 2nd June approximately 5pm.
• The organisers have the right to refuse any entry.
• The scrutineer’s decision is final.
• You can only enter one team into the competition, and you can only be in one team

Entry Fee: $100 per team of 3, all entries close Sunday 26th May @ 7pm.
No entries accepted after this date and time.
Refreshments: There is a full restaurant on premise, Open from 11am – 8.00pm, Bar Snacks Available from the bar after 8.30pm
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for sale on licensed premises.
No wholesale alcoholic beverages are to be bought onto the club’s premises at any time.
Pig Hunting Times: Start Thursday May 30th at 12.01am until final weigh in time at 3pm Sunday 2nd June 2024
All Pigs must be at the weigh in station on time.
Weigh in Station: Pigs can be weighed in at the Waitara District Services & Citizens Club from 12 noon – 3pm on Sunday 2nd June 2024
