🎉 Cricket season wrapped up in style! 🎉
Last night we celebrated the end of the season at our annual prizegiving awards, with a fantastic crowd coming together to recognise our trophy winners.
A big thank you to Jimmy Jazz for putting on the food and keeping everyone well fed! 🍔🌭
Congratulations to all the winners, and thanks to everyone who came along to make it a great night 🏆👏

2025-26 season prizegiving is tomorrow night at the Woodshed. The trophies are ready, so swap the pads for a pint and celebrate the hits, the heartbreaks, and the heroes of the season. Quick speeches, good banter, and a chance to honour those who performed on and off the pitch will be provided, accompanied by a light supper.
Kick off at 6pm.

🏏 HALF PINTS – SEMI-FINAL TONIGHT! 🏏

After a long season with players in and out thanks to uni, holidays, comps, and general life chaos, the Woodleigh Half Pints have still pulled together 8 wins from 14 and earned their crack at finals cricket. 💚💛

Tonight they take on New Plymouth Old Boys' Peelbacks in the T20 semi at Vogeltown Park, 5:30pm.

Nothing to lose here — the Peelbacks carry the pressure of being favourites. The Pints can play with freedom… and that’s usually when they’re at their most dangerous. 🔥

Netball is back at Woodleigh in 2026! 🏐

After a brief hiatus, we are pleased to announce that Netball is back at Woodleigh Sports and Social Club.

We are holding a muster Monday 23rd February, 6:30-7:30pm at Waiwhakaiho Netball courts.

Seasoned player? Looking for a change in scenery? New to Netball? Missed the other club trial dates? No worries! Come along, have a run and see what we are all about.

Big day at Sutherland Park this weekend 💪🏏

Round 6 sees the Stumble-Inn Woodleigh Premiers take on competition leaders Inglewood Cricket Club in what shapes as a cracking contest.
Inglewood sit 1st on the ladder looking to maintain top spot, while Woodleigh are in 5th — just one competition point outside the top four and level on wins and losses with 4th place. With only one round remaining after this week, there’s plenty on the line for both sides.

It’s also Supporters & Old Timers Day, so it’s a perfect chance to welcome back past players, officials, volunteers and supporters to the club. Get down, catch up with old friends, and enjoy a big day of Premier cricket.
