UPDATE for Sunday 7th June: Day 2 of the Club Champs is scheduled to kick off in the morning, meeting at the club around 9am, with first heat scheduled for 10am. The schedule is subject to change, conditions will be assessed in the morning and heat order will be confirmed accordingly.

2026 Club Champs Final Call: We are on this weekend! Meet at the club to help set-up at 8am Saturday with a 9am start. The schedule will be confirmed Saturday morning – any order of events you see is not the confirmed order yet, and when the schedule does go up it can definitely change again. Possible first up divisions in the first hour of contest are in no particular order: Under 16 boys, Over 50 men and Open Men, you can see the heat draw here:

We will be assessing conditions and the weekend forecast as the weekend pans out. Prizegiving with food & drinks will be after the end of the contest. It may run in one day, or it may run over two days.

Yay, it's Music Night down at the club this Friday, June 5, with a great line up of soloists and bands - a couple new to our stage. Bar is open from 5.30pm with the good tunes starting soon after. Come on down to enjoy good music and good company.

A call will be made on Friday 5th June at lunch time to confirm if the Club Champs will go ahead or not this weekend. The forecast is chopping and changing considerably. If it's on, the heat draw and schedule will get posted. And if it is not on, we will be aiming to run it on the back up date of 18/19 July 2026.

Entries are live (and close on Monday 1st June) for our big annual Club Champs event. Scheduled for 6/7 June 2026. The goal is to have one big happy club weekend!

A few points to note:
- You must be a current financial full member of our club (and represent our club at national level events etc) to be allowed to compete.
- Titles will only be awarded where there are two or more surfers competing for that title
- Where there are combined divisions (ie ‘All Womens Shortboard Divisions combined’), if we get enough entries to branch out separate age divisions we may do so. Same with Over 60 & 70 Men combined.
- There is currently a limit of two divisions per surfer to ensure we can complete the event in one weekend. If you wish to enter more than two divisions, please message Jarred what further divisions you want to do (after you have entered your definite two divisions) and if the draw and schedule allow it, your request may be fulfilled, though this is not guaranteed.

The first Finals results are in. In the Egmont Honey Pro Pro Junior Boys final, the winner is Jaxon Willows with a score of 13.90, ahead of 2nd place Jacob Morris on 6.63, Levi Devine-Collins on 6.4, Uruao Fairlie on 5.20, and Ben Dixon on 4.83.
First place in the Pro Junior Girls is Luana Mathies with a score of 10.43, ahead of Izaro Williamson's 8.00, and Lara Lay on 5.87.
