Good little session on Tuesday,
Snapper, Kahawai, John Dory and blue cod caught 🍻

It was a good ol dirty strayline session trying out the new S**e Hooks we got from the boat show.
Very happy with the hookup rate and all the fish hooked perfect in the corner of the mouth, even got a John Dory on a ledger rig with size 2 circle lumo hooks 🤣.

Whats everyones top 3 slow pitch jigs and what depth are you using them in .

Mines

#1 Boss Squid ( Leathal Lumo ) 80-100 grams in 10-30 metres
Also pretty deadly towing slowly in 6-10 m

#2 Double trouble ( Shady Lady ) 60-100 gram in 8-30 metres of water.
Also great for casting over work ups and winding back through them

#3 Deep V 170 gram ( Shady lady ) 18-35m

Slay rides with the first shark that has actually scared me on my kayak 😮🦈
45mins it took from when i hooked it until i cut it off 2m under my kayak.

Its amazing how strong Kingfish are, everytime i catch one it blows me away how fast and how far they can tow a kayak.
