Kelvin’s Cycles Business Sale

After 35 years of having the pleasure and deep gratitude for your business and support, we have made the decision to sell our business, with trading ceasing on Monday 24 November 2025. This difficult decision comes following a significant family loss, which has made us realise that we need to step away from the operating demands of self-employment.

The wonderful news is our business of Kelvin’s Cycles has sold to The Rev Bike Company. Kelvin Gordon will become an employee of Rev Bikes and will be based at 28 Appleby Highway, Richmond, and Dean Rainbow will become an employee of Rev Bikes just 500 metres around at the corner of Hardy Street and Collingwood Street, where our high level of customer and bike service will continue to be provided by Rev Bikes.

We are incredibly grateful for the support and loyalty you have shown us throughout our years of operation, and we would love for your custom to transfer along with us to the Rev Bike Company.

‼️ STOLEN BIKE ‼️

This Smartmotion XCity neo, size medium has been stolen. This afternoon we had a new electric bike still unassembled in a box stolen from us. Has since been assembled and has been spotted out riding past our shop.

Could everyone please keep an eye out for it please, and get in contact if seen or know of anything.

Time pedals have arrived into store

From Wednesday 1st September we will be open under Level 3. Workshop - We will open to the public for contactless drop off and collection for all repairs and servicing. If you could please phone our shop on 0275482851 or 5482851 to book in your bike at a time that best suits you. We are taking bookings at 15 minute intervals to guarantee physical distancing. Your bike will be sanitised both before and after it has been worked on. As all transactions must be contactless, we will ring you with your repair cost for payment to be made by bank transfer or through us with your credit card details over the phone, prior to collection at an agreed time. Sales- While the inside of our store will not be open to the public, we will be open for contactless sales. You can purchase from us by phone or email and we offer contactless collection from our store or delivery by courier (courier cost additional).
