Well, where do I start πŸ€”
So we made the trek to Blenheim for the Eastern States Speedway prize giving.
Now, I said to Jordan that you never know how these things roll so as much as we thought we had a awesome car that's our opinion and not necessarily everyone else's and thats cool it is what it is .
Getting best presented was our hope, and as it was something I got my first season..40 years ago ae Trich Dixon πŸ€”πŸ€£πŸ€£ actually 23 years .. f**k I'm old 🀣🀣 Jordan really wanted it his first season too in the same type of car ..rotary .. same number , same club we call home and forever will .
Well he got it!! so a huge moment for us and man that smile on Jordan's face well that's what I live for. It really warmed my heart ❀️.
Jordan also got most improved driver, and that shows his ability and respect on track, taking his time and building into how he wants to be as a driver. I'm so very proud of him .
Als, young Keegan Smith, who's first season in ministocks got most improve, also which was so awesome πŸ‘Œ Kerry Smith and Ange you should be super proud of the young man as we sure are .
Also Barry Neal congratulations on your achievements you do a huge amount for the club and as well as many others do also in not only the production class but over all the classes its awesome you got what you got you very much deserve it .
It was awesome to see everyone involved with the club getting recognized and a special mention to Stew Coutts who for as long as I can remember has been one of the backbones of Eastern States Speedway and Pete Carpenter was also and who is dearly missed by many of us for the honest genuine guy he was .
Cheers to all the lads in the production class for the season. I look forward to next season, and hopefully, Jordan can improve again from what was a great first season πŸ‘.
Now, the other part of our trip was securing a new ride for our wee girl Willow, who now gets the opportunity to have a limited run in a ministock next season.
She is super excited, and after making friends with a couple of the other drivers last night, one who straight away took Willow under her wing she can't wait for race season to roll around.
Huge thank you too, Tony
Carpenter for the opportunity, we definitely appreciate it πŸ‘πŸ˜ŽπŸ€™
Obviously, next season is already busy, so working out how we achieve this is going to be a challenge, but already some family and friends have offered help, so that's really cool 😎.
Again, I am super proud of Jordan, and congratulations to all the competitors and volunteers at ESS .
how's it go ..

So, every now and then, you have a win, and well, today, we feel like we had one πŸ€™
We want to thank Ash Mcconchie so so much for his kindness and support.
His racing is on hold, and he had a spear shell just sitting there, so when he saw we were looking for parts, he said, "Come get it ."
We work very hard for everything we get, so being gifted something like this is pretty Damm humbling, and again, we are so grateful 😎.
We have a heap of work now ahead of us now, so as much as I can do most of it, we will need a hand .
If anyone is interested in crewing, please reach out and especially if you can weld and interested in doing some welding work for a discounted rate as now we have 2 more cages to do .
Again, thank you, Ash, it means the world πŸ€™πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘
