•3rd Dan BlackBelt - W.A.K.O. Kickboxing
•2nd Dan BlackBelt - Mugendo
•1st Dan BlackBelt - WadoRyu Karate
•International W.A.K.O. Referee
•Boxing Coach
•Personal Trainer
•Chinese Medicine Practitioner
•WAKO NZ - Executive Board member


•Currently SMA shall be running the following class schedule for term one Boxing. Our focus will be on good technique, combinations and fitness. Friday classes will focus more on fight fitness with optional sparring for those more advanced. We look forward to seeing you ! Tuesdays
6:30pm - 8pm Adults & Teens

Fridays
3:30pm - 4:15pm 5-7yr olds
4:15pm - 5:15pm 8-12yr olds
5:30pm - 7pm Adults & Teens

Cost: Adults class: $100 for 5 weeks ($10 per session)
$15 drop in
Junior class: $35 for 5 weeks ($7 per session)
$10 drop in

Payments are made in advance. Weekly automatic payment accepted also.

IMAGINE….. just IMAGINE! ….Katie Taylor has allowed women all over the world to allow themselves to imagine the impossible, to follow their dreams, to break down those barriers, and to not allow the old boys club to hold us down… from me to you Katie, I’m so so proud to be a part of your journey ….and I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for giving me someone so incredibly special, for not only my female students to look up to as a role model, but for ALL my students to look up to! Enjoy retirement, no one deserves this more than you! Thank you thank you, thank you! Looking forward to a chat over a coffee someday at how far it all got to from that little old night back in 2001 when we took on the establishment and won!!! I’m so incredibly proud of you!

There will definitely be a little tear in my eye and a massive swelling of pride in my chest on Saturday!! From fighting alongside Katie In the first ever sanctioned female fight, in the national stadium in Ireland, back in 2001 …to not being able to be there for the last one!!…. Would love to have been there! So happy for her to have it in Croke Park… (about time!!!) She deserves EVERYTHING! What an absolute legend and incredible role model for every girl in any sport who is breaking down barriers! I feel so privileged to have been a little part of her journey along with Mercedas Taaffe-Cooper and Sadie duffy among others that faithful night in Dublin way back then!! I knew she was special! Let’s Gooooo Katie! With you every step! ❤️ 👊

Great to see so many people starting to come back after being sick and a big thanks to Zaw for taking the senior class for some knees and clinches tonight! I enjoyed having a break from teaching. WHAT A FULL ON DAY for our club today!
Starting off with our intermediate girls intro to sparring in Richmond! This was followed by Zaw Tin joining Miguel Nunez and departing some awesome skills on our intermediate boys class!
Then it was back to the club for more intermediate girls showing some serious skills with Emma Scully and Sari Moore before we had our incredible Wahine getting stuck in for first time sparring! You ladies were incredible and there was NO WAY you looked like you were doing this for the first time! We have some serious WARRIORS in this class…. I’m super excited at what we are achieving together! You blew me away today. What a community!! Kai was definitely earned after that 😂
