heart of Nelson City, paddle out to Haulashore Island and explore the beautiful Nelson Haven from the water. As an accredited Surfing New Zealand SUP School, we offer beginner SUP lessons and coaching alike. We have paddleboards and sit-on-top kayaks to hire and offer guided tours and night paddles. Connect with our friendly paddleboarding community on our social paddles and events too.

We’re getting together for a relaxed paddle up the Maitai to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness 💗

📍 Meet: Boat ramp near Trafalgar Centre (see map below 👇)
⏰ Time: 8:30AM
🌊 Plan: Paddle up the river → coffee stop at River Kitchen Cafe → paddle back

Wear as much pink as you can and come along for a cruisy morning on the water 💕

🛥️Following reports of a Jet Ski operating within the Tahunanui swim zone last night, we did catch up with the owner.
👍Thank you for the calls which enabled us to observe on the cameras and follow up.
🚧The reserved swim zone excludes any powered craft and is for the safety of swimmers and paddle craft. The Northern edge is marked by the three black and white buoys.

🛟We do give exemptions to Surf Life Saving to enter for operational and training purposes and we will occasionally enter to access the beach for safety and operational matters. This will always be a dead slow ahead speed and giving way to swimmers/paddle craft.
