🎾 End of an Era 🎾

Yesterday marked my final day at Nelson Lawn Tennis Club, bringing to a close an incredible eight-year chapter that I will always hold close to my heart.

This club has been so much more than a workplace. It’s where I’ve grown not only as a coach, but through some of the biggest moments of my life, including raising my children. The support, kindness and encouragement I’ve received from this amazing community over the years is something I’ll never forget.

To every player, parent, fellow coach and committee member—thank you. I’ve had the privilege of coaching so many wonderful people, many of whom I now proudly call friends. Together we’ve celebrated wins, worked through challenges, shared countless laughs and created memories that will stay with me forever.

Leaving is incredibly bittersweet because I’ll miss the people and the sense of community that makes Nelson Lawn Tennis Club such a special place. But I know the club is in fantastic hands with Coach Alejandro taking over, and I have no doubt he’ll continue to help the club thrive.

Thank you, Nelson Lawn Tennis Club, for eight unforgettable years. It has truly been an honour.

This isn’t goodbye forever—you’ll still see me around the courts, at local tournaments, and I’ll continue coaching at Hope Tennis Club as I lighten my workload a little.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything. ❤️
