I know these little punks, and seeing this sort of behaviour is disappointing. I will be passing it on to authorities as one of the boys in the video has trained with me a couple times and we don’t condone that bu****it at Nak Su!!

Too many young people these days think it’s funny to intimidate, harass, or gang up on others for a laugh, but they don’t realise the impact their actions can have. What might seem like a joke to them can seriously affect someone’s confidence, mental health, and sense of safety. Nelson is better than this!! We should be teaching our young people respect, accountability, and how to treat others with decency. Real strength isn’t found in numbers, acting tough, or trying to embarrass someone. Real strength is standing up for others and doing the right thing when nobody is watching!

To anyone dealing with bullying, keep your head up. Don’t let the actions of a few immature people define your worth and you are all welcome at Nak Su as we have all the fundamentals to help you when it comes to situations like this! It’s time we started holding this sort of behaviour accountable and encouraged our young people to be better.

CAPITAL PUNISHMENT 77 🥊🔥

What an awesome event put on with a stacked card full of mostly Full Thai Rules fights from top to bottom. Massive respect to everyone involved in making the night what it was. We couldn’t be more proud of our warrior Nathan, only 17 years of age and stepping into his very first Full Thai Rules fight with 3 minute rounds against the tough and experienced CJ Leigh from . CJ is a seasoned opponent, older, highly experienced, a coach at Warrior Academy, has fought for titles and has done it all in the fight game. This was only Nathan’s 10th combat sports fight overall, but our young warrior stepped up to the challenge in a huge way.

Only halfway through the first round before the referee stepped in for the TKO/KO! Nathan’s sharp boxing, composure under pressure and beautiful use of his teeps at range is what secured him the win. A massive performance from our young gun against a quality opponent. Huge thank you to CJ Leigh and the whole Warrior Academy team for giving our boy the challenge he needed. Nothing but respect for warriors willing to test themselves.

Big thank you as well to brother Mark Hampton and the team at for making this event happen and continuing to grow the sport here in Aotearoa. To everyone who came out and supported Nathan and our team, thank you all so much! Your support never goes unnoticed 💯🙌 Most of all, a huge thank you to my brother for helping me prepare Nathan for this big fight and helping lead our team.
