I have always known it existed, but until yesterday I had no idea how huge it is

Or how important it is to win

This war doesnโ€™t have teams

Itโ€™s a free for all

Every man and woman for themselves

And you see, if you choose to not even participate in this war

Then you and your coaching business has already lost

This is the war for your audience's attention

Every single day when you wake up, you want to be making consistent sales in your business

To feed your family

To pay your mortgage or rent

To take a holiday and experience life head on

And if you want yourself and your business to thriveโ€ฆ

Youโ€™d better fight with everything youโ€™ve got

So how do you get your audience's attention?

The answer is through your content

Every blog, vlog, video, article, training, and podcast you post throughout social media and online is your opportunity to grab some of your audienceโ€™s attention

The more content you post, the more eyeballs on you and the more opportunity for attention you gain

But you havenโ€™t won yet

Not even close

Now you need your audience to actually engage with your content

Engagement doesn't just mean likes, comments and shares

All engagement means is that they stop on your content to take a quick peek

To decide if your content provides enough value to actually devote their precious time and consume it

If itโ€™s not relevant and valuable

It will vanish into the social media black hole

If however, your content is incredibly relevant and valuable

Some of your audience will consume it

Congratulations

Youโ€™ve gained some points

And these points are also called โ€˜considerationโ€™

If you can continue to provide relevant and valuable content to your audience and they are willing to consume

Consideration over time makes you the only logical choice when members of your audience are ready to invest in themselves

You seeโ€ฆ

The attention of your audience is finite

Meaning that they only spend a certain amount of time each day on social media

And youโ€™re not only competing with other coaches

Youโ€™re competing with cat memes
If youโ€™re not there to build a relationship and add value every single day with your audience

You will find harder and harder to attract the right clients with consistency

So when I say fight tooth and nail for your audience's attention by posting high value and relevant content frequently...

I mean it!

Itโ€™s literally for the survival and growth of your coaching business

Why 1-1 Coaching Is Selfish... ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
----------

There's no doubt in my mind this might spark some backlash!

And I welcome it ๐Ÿค—

But first, ask yourself this question: Are you amazing at what you do and do you consistently produce amazing results for your clients?

Was the answer yes? Then keep reading.

And secondly, ask yourself this question: Did you start coaching to help people and produce amazing transformations for your clients?

Yes again? Awesome, you're in the right place!

Then why are you limiting yourself to 1 - 1 coaching and remaining stuck with 10 - 20 clients?

There are 1000's of people out there who could benefit from your help and they are waiting for you to transform their lives.

Now I know what you're thinking ๐Ÿค”

But Ashton, people need me and pay for my time.

Also because everyone is different I need to tailor my services to each individual's needs.

This was the model I started out with 4 years ago, and it was exhausting.

You work your butt off to get a few clients, then you focus on coaching, then people drop off and you're back to square one ๐Ÿคช

And here's why this is a problem:

Youโ€™re trading your time for money. (Good luck scaling)

Youโ€™re not helping more people. (Good luck having any significant impact)

Your clients are only accountable to you. (Have fun holding your clients hand)

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

So how can group coaching overcome these problems?

Firstly, you have to be a specialist if you want to launch a group coaching program.

Let me give you an example.

Let's say you are a nutrition coach and you currently work with clients 1 - 1.

You work with everyone and anyone that comes your way and see 30 clients per week.

You are trading your time for money and the only way to help more people and generate more business is to work more (goodbye sleep ๐Ÿ˜ต).

You're sick and tired of the long hours and your clients hounding you for advice on every tiny detail, so you want to start a group coaching program to leverage your time and help more people.

But when every client comes to you for a different problem, a group coaching program is not possible as every client has a different problem which each require a different solution.

Now let's say you decide to become a specialist.

You have extensive experience working with women who have type 2 diabetes and know the steps required to reduce or even reverse type 2 diabetes in this demographic.

Boom, you have one single problem and one single solution ๐Ÿคฏ

Your a specialist!

You can serve 1000's of these women with your type 2 diabetes program and run this program online and internationally.

What this means is you will only say yes to women who have type 2 diabetes, and no to everyone else.

You then build an awesome program and support community based around this super specific problem.

It's like comparing a GP with a heart surgeon....

Chalk and cheese!

The heart surgeon gets paid loads more and his set of skills provide a very specific solution to a very specific problem!

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

This can be a hard pill to swallow for coaches and many will not accept group coaching.

Usually because coaches fell like their clients NEED them.

And that's not true at all.

Your client didn't pay for you or your time!

Your client paid for the RESULT!

So how do you know if you are a specialist or generalist right now?

Answer this question: What is the result that you produce for your clients?

NOTE: If you're struggling to answer this question or your answer is very vague, chances are you're a generalist.

For example, I help coaches launch their own successful group coaching program.

One single problem solved with one single solution (our 90 day Hero Launch program)

The truth is, group coaching is not for everyone. However, if you are an expert and specialise in one specific field, group coaching will leverage your time significantly, allow much greater impact, generate much more revenue and produce even better results than the 1 - 1 model.

If you're still on the fence about group coaching or not sure where to start, comment 'LAUNCH' below and I'll invite you to our free 5 Day Launch Challenge ๐Ÿš€
