University of Auckland Snowsports Club University of Auckland Snowsports Club - The only student lodge on Whakapapa Skifield

UASC is a non profit student organisation which exists to bring skiing and snowboarding to the students of the University of Auckland and other universities. The Club owns and runs its very own ski-in ski-out Lodge on the slopes of Mt Ruapehu, so we can provide students (and the odd non-student, depending on how much they can drink!!), the cheapest, greatest place to stay on the mountain.

ATTENTION ALL FIRST YEARS
- mark your calendar for UASC’s fresher BYO! 🥂🥂

Join us at Barilla Dumplings on the 20th March at 7pm for a fun night with your fellow first years.

Feeling a little nervous about meeting people in a big club? This is the perfect opportunity to make new friends, learn more about what UASC is all about and start making memories with your new ski fam 🎿

The night is only $35 per person which includes a main meal and corkage fee, all you have to do is bring your favourite bottle of wine!! 🍷

The theme is Back tie and Boardies, so you choose, are you walking the red carpet or heading for a surf! Hey maybe even both at the same time! 🌊

We will have games and competitions with prizes up for grabs, including THREE Whakapapa day passes - valued at $150 each!

ALSO - we’re on the hunt for an out-going fresher to join our 2026 committee. Your role would be helping organise epic events like this one, and spreading the word to your fellow freshers about how awesome UASC is! So if you’re someone who loves the snow, loves to plan fun actives and loves to yap, let us know!!
