I struggle to find time to get in the workshop lately, I forged this pattern welded blade and guard 18 months back and only just fitted a handle this weekend. The owner of this one dropped off some Puriri timber 3 years back and asked me to make a knife for his Dad. Luckily he’s a patient man 😅

It’s been a long time between drinks! Finally found some time to knock one out.
This one’s a San Mai pattern welded Bowie knife using 15n20 and 1084 steels. Through tang construction, pattern welded guards and Sika antler handle.
Blade is approx 160mm long.

Another through tang hunter in D2, this one is off to a hunter in Christchurch. Thanks for looking!
