As we have officially wrapped up the season with some wins and some massive achievements on the field. We would like to thank our families for understanding the new not so normal Prizegiving, but we still enjoyed watching the smiles from the children receiving their trophies, medals and certificates.

Once again we have sent out an end of the season survey to all parents/caregivers emails.
Thank you to those who have already done so.

We appreciate all the honesty feedback to make the club better and support our children and families next season.

As a committee we would like to thank ALL our coaches, Parents/Caregivers and most important the AMAZING KIDS who played for our club and showed AWESOME sportsmanship!!

Covid-19 Update | Friday 27 August

Following today's announcement from the Government we would like to advise that no football or futsal will take place on the weekend of the 4th/5th September at Alert Level 3.

We will post an update next week as to what football might look like from the 11th September and beyond.

Stay safe and as always if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact your local Operations Manager.

Hawkes Bay, and NZ south of the Auckland Boundary will move to level three at 11.59pm Tuesday August 31. Auckland and Northland will remain at level 4 with more announcements to come for this region next week.

COVID - 19 UPDATE |

Given the additional COVID-19 community cases announced this morning, it would seem extremely unlikely that we will be at a reduced Alert Level by Saturday morning that would enable any football to take place.

Therefore, as per the NZF release below, Central Football along with the other six Federations and New Zealand Football, have suspended all football and futsal to be played this weekend. This includes all junior, youth and senior football, the Unison Junior Festival to be held in Napier and the FTC Game Day’s scheduled to be held in Whanganui and Gisborne.

We will be in touch via email direct with all FTC parents/caregivers around what this means for the remainder of this program. At this stage we are looking at rescheduling the Unison Junior Festival in Napier to next Saturday and Hawkes Bay Operations Manager Shane McKenzie will be in touch with clubs around the arrangements for this in due course.

We will continue to provide updates via our social media channels as and when we have more information to share.

The coaches had a hard time this week to nominate one remarkable kid out of their amazing team for the Unison Medal Award 2021.
I had to share this feedback from a coach spoken about the team.

It's been a pleasure to see them come together as a team.
No matter the result, they are supportive of each other and show great honor and sportsmanship to themselves, their families and their club - by always cheering for the other team and playing fair and in the true spirit of the great game!
