My name is Naomi Eunson and I am a Personal Trainer with over 15 years experience in the industry. I have been involved with all the different aspects of a gym over the years, including Personal Training, Group Fitness, Boxfit, Boxing Specific Coaching, Nutrition, Training New Staff, Marketing, and Management of Gym and staff. My love of the fitness industry started when I joined a gym at 18 and t

hen was asked to work for the gym. I studied and grew as I continued to work my way up the chain and eventually took on the managers role of the gym. I took time of to have my 2 children, but have since been back working as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, as this is where my grass roots lie, and what I am most passionate about. With a broad background of various training styles, and been involved in Boxing at a National and International level prior to kids, I can give you fun and varied workouts, that will help you to achieve your goals. I work alongside my clients to make sure they are gaining all the tools necessary to achieving a healthier and fitter body. A little more subdued this year with a sick family and Mercede spending the majority of the weekend asleep in bed poor thing.
But we managed a couple of quick outings, mostly for photo opportunities ๐Ÿคฃ
The steam train and a visit to Woburn Homestead, was definitely the highlight for my mum and I. Great to explore such a piece of heritage in what is Woburn ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค

One thing you may not know about me, I LOVE fashion!

I'm a creative person and always have been.

I love colour, textures, and anything matching.

Accessories are everything and my bags and shoes have to match my outfits.

I refuse to pay full price, and actually couldn't afford my wardrobe if I did lol. I thrift 80% of my wardrobe including my accessories, and have done this since I was a teenager.

But alas, my job as a personal trainer sees me in active wear 95% of my week.

This year my promise to myself, is to be as expressive as I want, and to dress for my own happiness and no one else's.

Curate one outfit per week (when I'm not away coaching all weeeknd), that is loud, colorful and all things maximalist.

And be true to myself ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Huge day for some of our competitive team doing a garden cleanup as a fundraiser for future overnight trips!

We spent just over 5 hours with 5 people cleaning up the gardens in this property, and that didn't even include lawns or edging ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

All the team worked incredibly hard and the owner was amazed with the job everyone did.

Wish we had gotten some better before and afters so you could see just what was achieved today!

If anyone has work that needs doing, please reach out as our team is keen and ready for any opportunities to raise money for our club and all their tournaments around the country.

The group is kept to a small number of women so that I can provide individualised care and tend to your babies or toddlers as needed.
We focus on strength, balance and core training, with some cardio as your body is ready.

6 years ago I took the kids on their first overnight tramp to Lake Waikareiti. It took us 6 hours and 30 minutes to get there ๐Ÿ˜
Mercede and I decided to revisit it again and see how long it would take us now.
We missioned it in at a fast walking speed and got there in 3 hours 40 mins!
Then decided to treat is as a trail run and run as mychaswe could on the way out. Just the flats and downhill. We got out in 2 hours 35 minutes ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜Ž
We had the most stunning weather on the first day and made the most of it with ome very cold swims in the lake.
The second day was raining and the lake was completely shrouded in clouds, but it was actually so nice to be in the bush with all the rain dripping off the foliage. I didn't bother taking photos as it was to wet to have my phone out.
So happy to have got out with Mercede for an overnight tramp. It's one thing we don't get to do anymore since owning a business and either working Saturdays, or away at tournaments.
But we both miss the bush so much and now our souls feel full again ๐Ÿ’–

Lunch can look like this or this โžก๏ธ

In a world where we get told all the time what is GOOD food and what is BAD food and what we SHOULD be doing and what is the PERFECT meal, it's easy to get overwhelmed and feel like if we're not having the PERFECT meal, then we're FAILING........

But let's me real.

We're busy people. We may work some of our weekends or have had weekend activities that tie us up more than we would have liked. This can cause you to end up on the back foot for the week not having bought groceries, or having had the time to meal prep.

So what do we do?

We could just buy all of our meals, but who has the spare money to do that at present.......

Or

We make meal decisions on what we have in the cupboards or what time we have to stop and prepare something. And that can look like Greek yogurt with muesli or it could look like scrambled eggs on toast.

One might be deemed WRONG or BAD but let's be real, it's still food. It has carbs, protein and fibre and it's still better than going and buying takeaways!

So let's stop worrying about what is good and bad or wrong and right, and start focusing on making the best choices we can with the resources we have to hand โœ‹๏ธ

I'm going to run some pop up Boxfit and Bootcamp classes, alongside one-off personal training sessions during the weekends to fundraise $$ towards getting myself and Mercede to the Nationals which are to be held in Christchurch during October.

Join Naomi and KT who will support you with learning how to move correctly, lift weights, box or even self defense, in a safe and supportive environment where you just get to be yourself.
