🏆 AIMS WEEK — WHAT A WEEK THAT WAS! 🏆

What an unforgettable week for our Squash Lawn Juniors!

Some went into AIMS aiming for medals, some were determined to beat their seeding, and others simply wanted to give it everything they had. But somewhere along the way, magic happened

Players made new friendships, found new confidence and even has them heading to Nationals — something that wasn’t even on their radar at the start of the week!

If you ever get the chance to compete at AIMS, take it. It really is an unforgettable week filled with competition, friendships, challenges and memories that will stick with you for a long time.

And we couldn’t be prouder of ALL our Lawn Juniors.

To have 5 players from HB Lawn competing at AIMS was pretty sensational!

🥈 Olivia Michalakis (3) — 2nd place
🏅 Romeo Michalakis (10) — 9th place
🏅 Sienna Dickenson (11) — 10th place
🏅 Caleb Woods (27) — 24th place
🏅 Logan Wallace (34) — 29th place

And the best part… every single one of our placers finished ahead of their seeding!

That is truly sensational and a credit to the hard work, determination and attitude of these juniors.

Well done team — you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves!

A special shout-out to Olivia & Romeo!
Representing Puketapu School, they combined to give their school the #1 overall placing for a school at AIMS!

Calling all Lawn Players! Master and Junior Club Champs week of 21-25 September enter on Mysquash or let me know here and I’ll enter you. Doubles also happening 9th and 10th October with a number of teams already entered, and Club Champion and graded champ 12th - 17th October with Prize giving and supper to follow. Perfect way to finish off the season. Last year we had awesome numbers let’s see if we can make 2026 even bigger.
