Our annual showdown against Omanu Golf Club has arrived, with players from both clubs battling it out for Bay pride and bragging rights.

If you're looking for something to do today, head down to the club, follow the action, and support the Maraenui team as they take on one of the Bay of Plenty's strongest clubs.

TIMBERRRRR! 🌳💥😳

The big macrocarpa near the 2nd has officially come down… and wow, did she make an entrance on the way out! The ground shook, heads turned, and there may have even been a few nervous laughs when it hit the deck!

Massive thanks to the crew involved — an awesome job done safely and professionally.

Clean-up kicks off tomorrow. While the area is now safe, please still keep clear while the final tidy-up work is completed.

Huge congratulations to our Handicap 3 Pennants team who took out their division at the finals yesterday here at Maraenui! 🏆
A fantastic performance and well-deserved win by Duncan and his team – great effort all round.
Commiserations to our Champ 3 team, led by Peter, who were pipped by the narrowest of margins on the final hole. A tough way to finish, but an outstanding effort to make the finals.
Proud of both teams – fantastic representation of MGC! ⛳
