Home from the last round of the FAE winter series mx5 cup.
Quite a challenging day in the car struggling with pace most of the day, highlight of the day was collecting my hat and trophy for 2nd overall for round 3, I didn't know I had placed.

Ive included a little clip of me doing some wheel work trying to keep the car from spinning after some average driving by a fellow competitor, not too much damage luckily, one broken rim and some panel damage.

Overall a good season and looking forward to the next season!

Well I'm home after another weekends racing in the mx5.
Quite a tough weekend with a crash in race one causing damage to the front right, I had to go to the pit to get the guard pulled off the tyre, this caused me to go a lap down and finish last!
This mornings race I was off the front in the reverse grid race and struggled in the wet finishing somewhere in the middle of the field.
The last race today I started 23rd and finished 12th, slightly better race after some changes to the car.
Now it's back to the drawing board to figure out a better setup and of course a little panel and paint to tidy the car up!

Out there for the first round of the winter series with my new livery, having some gearbox issues but still qualified 8th.
Decent field here this weekend with 23 mx5's and potentially over 30 for the next round.

Unfortunately I was undone by a brand new battery failing on lap 8, I have now put another new one in for the last race, will have to start from the back!

Sunday raceday here at Manfield in the Super Sprint series. Finally the rain has gone away for now.
It was very wet yesterday for the first race in which I finished 12th.
I am starting 12th for the first race which is a 10 lapper.
The racing is live on sky sport from 11am and live on Tv3 from 1 pm today.
Our final race which is televised will be around 2.55 pm today.
