Tākitimu Outrigger Canoe Club We are a new club with a focus of growing the sport of wakaama (outrigger canoeing) and improving the health of all ages through the sport.

Wakaama is one of the fastest growing sports in New Zealand and we look forward to contributing to this growth.

And that’s a wrap on our World Sprint campaign!

Our boys made us incredibly proud, showing huge effort, dedication and commitment throughout the week while proudly representing Takitimu on the world stage.

What an achievement to race alongside the best paddlers from around the world and fly the flag for our club and Aotearoa.

Well done, boys — you should be proud of what you’ve accomplished.

What an incredible few days of racing for the Golden Masters men’s crew! The boys have had a fantastic regatta and should be immensely proud of their efforts and achievements.

🥈 Silver - 200m Sprint
🥇 Gold - 42km Changeover Race

A huge congratulations to everyone involved. It’s been awesome to watch the teamwork, determination on the big screen!
