The Trail Crew were working late into the night to get this one open for the weekend 💪.

Moon Landing is open now!🚀 **it's not completely finished, we will add a little more next week** Please cut some laps to help it bed in.

📍Find it right next to Trash Panda. Practice your drops first at the 3 new progressive drops and then take your skills to Moon Landing!!!🤘

Dear Riders,

As most people are aware, many businesses in NZ have seen a significant rise in operational costs over the last few years. This has also been the case for the bike park and we have worked hard over the last few years to absorb these increasing costs. We have done our very best for many years to minimise any price rises, however we are now in the unfortunate position where we need to implement small increases across all of our bike park entry options.

This will help cover the ongoing operational costs within the park and help secure the future of the park going forward. We have worked hard to keep these increases at a small and manageable level for our riding community, as we really appreciate your ongoing support for the park.

These small increases will take effect from 1st June 2026.

New prices are as follows:
Adult Day Pass $18
Student Day Pass $15
Child Day Pass $12
Family pass $50

10 Ride Adult $160
6 Ride Adult $100

10 Ride Child $100
6 Ride Child $65

12 Month Adult $349
6 Month Adult $249

12 Month child $279

Doggos are back!! Pest control is complete, so your four-legged trail shredders are allowed back in the forest!

As promised, we are also introducing a 3-month trial to have dogs back on weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, from 2pm until 5.30pm (excluding public holidays), starting this weekend.
This time window will be strictly enforced (no entry with dogs prior to 2pm)
We will monitor rider feedback closely and will adjust accordingly if required.

Just so everyone is on the same page, here are the rules:
- Dogs on a lead in the carpark. Always.
- No dogs in the shop
- No dogs in the Airfield (!!)
- All dogs must be under control while on trails (no dogs running UP "How Good", "Over and Out", etc)
- Pick up after your dog

We believe that this arrangement can work for both, dog owners and riders, if everyone does their bit.

Massive thanks to everyone who took the time to fill out our Rider Survey🙏

We have been reading through all of the results and your comments, and would like to share some of the outcomes with you, and give you an idea of our trail plans going forward ⛏️🌲 Your input and ideas have been very informative and will help us plan and shape what the park looks like going forward.

There is a huge call for more trails and variety. We try to cater to a wide range of riders at the park and will continue to do so as we develop, maintain and build new trails. DISCLAIMER... We are not closing (who started that rumor??).

What we learnt:
• Riders love "How Good"❤️
• Riders miss "Off the Grid"😭
• Craving for TECH 🤘
• Want more areas to develop skills 🚲
• More distance and linking trails🗺
• Something for the little ones 👶
• Skinnies?!?!🙈

What we'll do:
• We have plans to develop more jumps that will bridge the gap between some of our different lines and help with safe progression and give more options. ⛏️
• We will do our best to offer tech trails with the terrain available, keep an eye out for some more lines opening soon.🤘
• We hope you are enjoying the progressive drops opened a few weeks back, and will follow up with a drop trail shortly. 😁
• We are currently working on a Cross Country loop that can also be used as a link trail to better connect "Ghost Chips/Quick Link" to the rest of the trail network. Opening in the next couple weeks🤞
• We have almost finished the rebuild of L-Plates, it will be ready for little (and big) wheels next week 👶
• Who said skinnies??

This is just a snap shot, there is so much more we got from our Riders Suvey and appreciate all your unhinged and wild ideas. We are doing our best to consider everything and make the park more enjoyable for you!
