Well done to all the students who took up the challenge and attended Mataki Camp! Two different trip options for students and fantastic warm weather 🥵 - ideal for a dip in the creeks to cool off! Awesome effort everyone for the positive attitude and completing two fantastic trips 💪👊😎

10NS Mataki Lodge trip (16th to 20th September 2024)
Well done to all the students who took up the challenge and attended Mataki Camp! Spring conditions - a mix of rain, sunshine, snow and more snow ❄️ 🥶 Unfortunately there wasn't the weather for making it onto the tops but this didn't stop having some fun sliding around in the snow and throwing a few snow balls around Mole Hut 🤙😎 A great attitude and resilience displayed by all, given the testing conditions. Well done to everyone on a positive attitude and just getting on and making the most of it 💪👊

Well done to all the students who took up the challenge and attended Mataki Camp! Cold starts and lots of snow❄️but a nice stable weather system allowing plenty of opportunities for tops travel☀️ Great to have Sylvia, Justin and Martin instructing (thanks team) and allowing us to offer two trip options for students to choose from with both groups climbing a mountain 🏔 and making it up to Tamati's Tarn. Awesome effort 👊😎

10AH & 10ET Mataki Lodge trip (27th November to 1st December 2023)
Well done to all the students who came away on Mataki camp. Another jaunt into the beautiful Nardoo Valley. A little bit of rain to contend with early in the week. Improving weather allowed the opportunity for a group of keen boys to complete a challenging loop up the valley past the Nardoo Biv and along the tops. Climbing high up and camping by a lovely little tarn. Tu meke! 👍🏔

Well done to all the students who came away on Mataki camp. Luckily the rain that was predicted didn't come and we had a fantastic day on the tops on Wednesday with just some strong wind to deal with. A great attitude displayed by all everyone and a fantastic week. Awesome! 🤟🏔
