On the 11th-13th of February there is an opportunity for groups or individuals to join a raft expedition on the Waiau-Uwha.
This mighty river winds through the rugged and remote St James Conservation Area, with towering mountains, narrow gorges, tussock valleys, and pure clean water. The river itself supplies a thrilling selection of grade 3 and 4 rapids, and is regarded in the industry as one of the best multi-day rafting trips Aotearoa has to offer!
