Last minute reminder for our 2nd (unmounted) Rally of the season—tonight at 5:45 at the Bombay Rugby Club. We had a great time last week getting reacquainted with coaches and each other and revisiting some HM material. If you’re interesting in getting involved, come along and say hello! We’ll be at the Rugby club for the next two Tuesday’s before we begin mounted rallies after daylight savings! 🌞 🐴

One last push to fill our few remaining spots in Bombay Pony Pals. Such a great opportunity for pony-mad kids (who don’t own a pony) to learn more about Ponies and Pony Club. It starts on Tuesday, September 8th. See attached flyer for more info!

Bombay–Papakura Pony Club would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Bernadette Raymond on receiving the NZPCA Gold Long Service Volunteering Award.

This prestigious award is a fitting recognition of Bernadette’s many years of outstanding dedication and service to not only Bombay–Papakura Pony Club, but also the Franklin District and Franklin Thames Valley Area clubs.

Much of Bernadette’s work happens quietly behind the scenes, where she works tirelessly to ensure our clubs run smoothly. From the countless hours she spends organising events to ensuring results are accurate and delivered on time, her commitment, attention to detail, and reliability are second to none.

Bernadette is also a wealth of knowledge and experience. She is always willing to share her expertise, offer guidance, and support those around her. Her dedication has made a lasting impact on so many riders, volunteers, and clubs throughout our region. She is the driving force behind the scenes that has not gone unnoticed.

Volunteers like Bernadette are the heart of Pony Club, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our community.

Bombay Pony Club had the privilege of attending the Bombay ANZAC Service this morning. It was a beautiful and meaningful occasion, taking time to remember the brave men, horses, and animals who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
