⭐💦 SPLASH ’N’ DASH 💦⭐

Because Mum and Dad don’t get to have ALL the fun! 😂

For kids aged 5–10, our Splash ’n’ Dash is a short, sweet and seriously fun swim-run aquathlon.

🌊 100m “swim” in Pilot Bay
🏃 1km dash along The Mall and back
🏁 Finish under the same banner as Mum & Dad
🏅 Every finisher gets a medal!

And when we say “swim”... we use the term very loosely. 😂 Think less Olympic freestyle, more running through the water while occasionally remembering to swim. 🏊‍♀️🤣

A great first taste of racing and perfect practice for the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon on Sunday 29 November.

The Marra Construction Tinman Triathlon is the first stop of the 2026/27 Tri NZ Junior Series, and it's going to be one seriously exciting season opener! 🔥

Race alongside the World Triathlon Cup, kick off your Junior Series campaign and put your first result on the board.

🏊‍♂️ U17: 300m swim • 13km draft-legal bike • 3km run
🏊‍♂️ U20: 750m swim • 20km draft-legal bike • 5km run

Tri NZ requires athletes to compete in a minimum of two Junior Series races to be included in the series rankings, so Tinman is the perfect place to get your season underway.
