Kia ora paddling community,

Who is hanging out for these results??? Want to check out how you went in comparison to Series ONE or how you placed amongst other paddlers in your event or division. Whatever the answer is high 5, be proud for getting out there and doing the mahi". Whether it was to build & make gains as a paddler, or tick up some necessary kilometres for important National &/or International events. If you came for the soup 😁 You are 😎.

A massive thank you to all the paddlers and clubs who joined us for the second race of the Mauao Ocean Series. Hallelujah we made it out the front for an open ocean paddle this time. We are also grateful for your attendance as all funds will go towards supporting our up & rising generation of paddlers with two international trips overseas. Tahiti & Rarotonga ✈️

Series Race 2 Official Results
Congratulations to all our competitors. Here are your results for Race 1, 2 & 3.

V1/W1/W2 (10km):
Tupu King (Nga Hoe Horo) took out the top spot again with a time of 53:35. Close on his heels was Kaitawhiti Kereopa

W6 Novice (10km):
Awhiowhio (Te Toki) led the field once again at 56:25. Another notch in the belt boys.

W6 Women & Mixed (16km):
Tai Pari (Hoe Aroha) had a flying finish placing first again in the Master Women division at 1:32:20

W6 Men & Mixed (16km):
A change up in our line up with MANA OCC (Ruamata) putting their open ocean skills to the test to finish first with a time of 1:25:56 👀

A huge shout-out to our Junior clubbies who braved early mornings & a long day to be a part of what it takes to run events. Succession planning on WAY! We wish them the best with both overseas campaigns.

Kia ora paddling whānau,

The results for the first Mauao Ocean Series are now live. We'd like to send a massive thank you to everyone who ventured over to the beautiful waters of Tauranga Moana and brought such great energy to the event. It was inspiring to see everyone supporting each other as you navigated the challenging conditions through the Harbour after the original Mauao course was made unsafe by the swell out front.

We hope you enjoyed the fun and camaraderie, and we’d love to hear your favorite moments from the day—feel free to share your highlights or suggestions. We can’t wait to see what you all achieve next time! Please mark your calendars for our next gathering on the 20th of June, same location 😉🤙🏽

Senior Club - Are you sitting on the fence looking for some friends to come and share the 20th anniversary of Vaka Eiva with. Is that urge or pull inviting you to come to Rarotonga.
