Every year, The Mount Pickleball Club organises the very successful Mount Classic, held at Mercury Baypark; it is now one of the largest pickleball tournament in New Zealand with over 320 participants from all around the country.

Senior B men’s and women’s doubles will be on Friday the 18th, with Open and other senior games on Saturday the 19th, followed by all the mixed games on Sunday the 20th.

The Orange Plus league, organised by Club Captain Nick and Club Coach Paul has been held at Haumaru Sport Centre on the 15th, 22nd, 29th of May and on the 5th of June; 29 players took part.

Congratulations to the players below who moved up a grade.
Orange Plus players will obviously get more chance to play with Greens on club days, though they will also continue to play with other Oranges.

🏓 LAST CHANCE TO QUALIFY – ROTORUA MiLP | 31 JULY – 2 AUGUST 2026 🏓
Entries are rolling in for the next Rotorua Minor League Pickleball (MiLP) event, and several divisions are already full!
This tournament is the final qualifying event for both the New Zealand Minor League Pickleball Championships in Wellington and the Australian Minor League Pickleball Championships in Melbourne (18–20 September 2026).
If you're looking to continue your MiLP journey, this is your last opportunity to earn qualifying points and secure your team's place at these championship events. The top teams from Melbourne will then have the opportunity to progress to the US Minor League Pickleball Championships in Dallas in February 2027.

✅ DUPR 14 (50+) – Friday 31 July
✅ DUPR 16 – Saturday 1 August
✅ DUPR 18 – Sunday 2 August

The Mount Pickleball Classic 26, our annual open tournament is coming up on September 18, 19 and 20.

As usual it’ll be at Mercury Baypark.
Senior B men’s and women’s doubles will be on Friday the 18th, with Open and other senior games on Saturday the 19th, followed by all the mixed games on Sunday the 20th.
