Beautiful Waihora day for the Annual 100 target Blue ribbon event.
Slight Nor west breeze all day, kept the shooters on their toes for the odd flat target..
With 3 x 💯 shot for the day.. there was some excellent shooting on show.
Thanks to Lincoln shooting parents for running the Kitchen, all the office staff, committee members and all the visitors making for a great day.

Juniors from Waihora Steal the Show at Hamilton.

The Waihora Juniors, including Sage Crous from Lincoln High and the Christs College Team, delivered a series of impressive performances at the Waikato Clay Target Club near Hamilton.

Sage set the tone on the first day, claiming HOA honors in the Hamilton Boys circuit shoot.

At the Secondary School North Island Championship, Waihora trained NCCTC member Harrison Johnstone took the top spot in the s***t event, while Oliver Skene secured 2nd place. The team event saw Harry Wilson and Oliver Skene take 1st place, with Jack Richardson and Harrison Johnstone claiming 2nd place.

In single rise, Sage, Harry, and Jack were among the few who shot possibles, with Sage finishing 3rd overall and taking HOA girls, Jack taking 4th and Harry 7th.

Sage's consistency earned her the top spot in the points score, winning HOA girls with a score of 57/60.

The Christs College team, consisting of Harrison Johnstone, Harry Wilson, Jack Richardson, Tyler Christie, and Oliver Skene, took 2nd place overall.

Sage continued to shine in single barrel, winning the girls dtl aggregate by a significant margin and claiming the HOA aggregate.

With their outstanding results, it's clear these juniors have had a fantastic weekend - Sage might need to pack an extra bag for all her trophies and medals!

Tough day battling the Northerly wind today making shooting a challenge. Not a lot of people managed to stay in the 40’s in the s***t showing just how tough it was. Jacko and Ray were tied on 46 & after a coin toss Jacko came out with the A grade.

DTL in the afternoon was much the same, with the targets doing a bit in the wind.
Jacko Had a good day cleaning up every event in A grade (beast mode 🐗)

To follow on from Hamish’s post yesterday here are the Results from Yesterday’s Christ College sponsored shoot:
S***t was first up with the Nor Wester making things difficult.
A Grade Jacko Hann 49/50
B Grace Rodders Williamson 47/50
C Grade Jack Burns (Making his return to shooting after a few years off from shooting for Stac) 47/50

In the afternoon we had more savage Nor west wind for the DTL consisting of 25 Single Rise, 15 mini champs, 20 Single rise and 20 Continental. The targets largely held up nicely in the wind and the colour of the Corsiva targets is hard to beat! Making for some very good rough day scores, as Graham Everett Continued his domination of Waihora DTL with another classy win.
