Another day out with - went to .co.nz_ annual drag day, such mean day and was good to give it a straight line hoon. That drop in kit was flawless. Head over and grab a kit! Any questions feel free to DM me.

14.3@95mph was my best... theres a 13 second pass in it with slicks and need to drop some weight (me) 😩 - back to drifting for this one though.

Corolla Machine Check - This is where it was at on its maiden drift day in August. Painted in the garage, still missing front bumper. All the goodies and everything else from my leftover 86 pile or sourced from mates.

Stock zz engine from / with ITBs 200HP at the crank, 6speed box, hilux diff, monsoon - really fun to drive.

Great collection of AE86 AE85 Ke70 and Kp60 at 2025 - track day to celebrate 86Day.

Great to hang with the boys, see some familiar old Toyotas and a few new ones and to do some drifting again after what feels like an age.

2ZZGE Ke70 ran flawlessly all day! Packed full of goodies - such a sick engine! Thanks for dialing in suspension, advice, towing and all the rest.

Yesterday was a big day! 2.5 years on the side build in evenings and days off has reached a milestone and I'm so stoked that we've put some numbers down with the - has mean oil pressure and sounds so rad, turn the volume up to 11!

with a mountain of R&D to design and make an easy kit and the easy 100 hours he put in to get it over the last but hardest % of the build.

Tuned by @ - sounds strong and crisp making just shy of 180whp.

Next up is to get it into a track in a few weeks πŸ™

Thanks to the following for helping with parts, moral support and for listening to me crap on about 2zz in every conversation: .f40_mr2 Liam at partmaster .wilson.9843 (anyone else from Syndicate i cant tag .heslin

getting close! It's on a road trip to for him to work more of his magic on the stuff that I can't do! Been a minute since i picked it up but should be ready for D0rts soon! Will do a full rundown once we're running.

Locked in for drifting in August and can't wait!

Motor setup is basically bolt in with the Niteparts zz kit!

made 200HP, which was great - but was just a test. Now I've installed an from a engine.

Was pretty straightforward - trim the sc12 block mount and trim a little off the mount.

A few simple calculations on pully sizing to make sure its not going to explode.

Modify outlet pipe, fit cut n shut manifold and get rid of the gze log. sorted the upper mount for me.
Swapped to same side intercooler from OZ as NZ didn't stock it.
Throw that lego together and hit it.

Whomps in at 2000rpm, makes 15psi boost and sounds rad! Will give it a tune this week with - back to dyno for power check or ΒΌ mile run whatever comes first.

Been down the rabbit hole for a while now. Everyone always said the superchargers were useless and with running various turbo setups for years I either sold the superchargers or threw them in the bin. I decided to give them a hoon and test a few things along the way.

Stage 1 was a stock rebuilt 4agze with my existing front mount, run free headers and a .8 TRD head gasket. This made 160hp at the fly. Stock throttle body at 46mm being a big restriction and redtop cams being tiny.

Stage 2 just dyno and is the motor above but with the addition PonCams [email protected], T3 175mm Pully and a bluetop / NA 56mm Throttle body. This goes great, pulls right to cut at 7800rpm and makes 200hp at fly. It's damn good to drive. Road tuned by and I and then the finery points adjusted and a bit more safety from Dan

Now that Stage 2 tested will be removing sc12 and have had help me fit up an sc14 to my dummy engine, switching to a regular rwd intake and will see how that goes - expecting this to be around 200whp.

And then when thats done - just for fun adding a GT2876 /HKS2540 in a twincharge compound configuration to see what that's like.

Good times - getting old but still enjoying trying different setups in these old cars!

Back in March, made me an offer i couldn't refuse, and within no time Mr Koru delivered this nugget to my door. I've been slowly chipping away at it since. Collecting bits and pieces for a reliable, exciting drifter ⭐️

Plenty of input from and will be running the full 2zzge Conversion kit - engine mounts plus accessories, J160 adapter and mount, NiteParts custom engine loom for link Fury.

Weighing more stuff 😁

For my drift car

AE85 S series 6.2 inch open drum diff (1410mm) vs Hilux G series 8 inch disc brake diff (1470mm). 53kg vs 82.7kg.

It's not as heavy as you'd think, considering it's never ever going to break. An ae86 disc brake diff likely around 62-65kg (Difference with 85 would be bearings, calipers, 6.7 inch, bigger pumpkin, slightly bigger axles)
