Again it's time to put the spot light on one of our own and thank him for all his time and effort put it to the Franklin Dirt Kart club.

Our President! the Big Kahuna, the Top Brass, Big Cheese Shayne Miers! He was also one of those crazy roosters that decided to build this track a few years back and has been the glue from day one.

You will see him out in the middle of the track every Sunday keeping the day running smoothly, calling the shots, starting the racing, and basically keeping everyone in line.

Tell you what, he can also pedal a go kart rather well, not that you see him on track that much anymore, but if you do, watch out.

From all the team at Franklin Dirt Karts we'd all like to say a massive thank you! For everything you have done for the club, your knowledge and enthusiasm is second to none.

It's with great sadness we hear of the passing of one of our competitors, Bradley Deathe, after a long battle with illness.

Bradley loved his dirt kart and speedway racing. He was always a fierce competitor in his all-black kart sporting the number #9

Condolences to his family and friends.

Rest easy.

We are on 👍 Gates as per usual. Track has come up mint, a quick wheel pack in the morning and we will be into it. Hannah Sweet Somethings will be there to caffeinate you. The Øtchef to feed you and we even have Chur Real Fruit Icecream and slushies 😋 Regos will be left open so if you plans change or you change your mind get amongst it. ☀️🏁

FRANKLIN DIRT KART SWAP MEET!!!

We are running it again! After much discussion we have decided to run another swap meet open to all kart racers.

All welcome, whether you race Dirt, Tarmac, Speedway, or Grass, come buy and sell your new and used parts and karts.

Gates open at 8am for Vendor set up.

Vendors to set up on Murphy’s lane and grass area parallel to the canal. Parking in Southern paddock closest to Hampton Downs.

Please stay off Pit Areas as still quite wet.

**FDKC 2026 Club Champs** We are on for tomorrow and the weather looks like it is going to play the game. The Grids are set, Trophies & Prizes have been assembled and a big shout out is required to Lyndon and the Team @ Repco Pukekohe, for their support, and the awesome prize packs they helped us put together, at heavily discounted prices. You guys are awesome! All the more reason why we Should support the businesses that support our club. 💙🏁A massive thanks to our sponsors for the FDKC 2026 Club Champs and a reminder of who has supported what classes . ** FDKC 2026 Club Champs Final Call** You have a little over 12 hours as entries close Tonight at mid-night (no late entries will be taken) To be Eligible to run in our club champs you must be a current season fully financial member. You must NOT be an X plater and that X plate needed to have been removed by consent of the FDKC committee. You can only register in a class that you have previously run. All FDKC general rules and engine rules must be followed by all. FDKC reserves the right to tech competitors as they see fit and may call competitors into a Parc Ferme' area at our discretion. If a rule says OEM or factory spec then it means as the "Factory or Original Equipment Manufacturer" produced that item and at the specification intended. If your spec is different then it is NOT compliant and you are Only Cheating yourselves or your Kids. Transponders are compulsory and if you are hiring one from the club just enter "0" for now and we will update once these are allocated. Both Forms are available through the below link
