After years of dedicated service, it's time to say farewell and thank you to Mack Everist as he moves to greener pastures up in Dorie.

Mack has been an outstanding volunteer and a valued member of our club community, serving as Treasurer and contributing countless hours behind the scenes to help keep the club running smoothly. His commitment, reliability, and willingness to lend a hand whenever needed have made a lasting impact on our club.

On behalf of everyone at Mayfield Squash Club, we'd like to thank Mack for everything he has done over the years. Your hard work and support have been greatly appreciated, and you will certainly be missed around the club.

A huge shout out to our very own Mel Redmond on being a finalist for the Greg Donaldson Contracting Volunteer of the Year award at the 2026 Mid Canterbury Sport and Recreation Awards earlier this month! 👏

Just one year ago, Mel joined our club and was quickly welcomed onto the committee. Since then, she has made a huge impact, particularly with our women’s night, and in March this year stepped into the role of Vice President. Her dedication, enthusiasm, and willingness to get involved wherever needed have been invaluable to our club and community.

We’re incredibly proud to see Mel recognised for all the hard work she puts in behind the scenes. This recognition is thoroughly deserved! 🏆
