Last night Chris took the win in Timaru by way of split decision.

First bout of the night, Chris started off strong. Staying calm under pressure along with long snappy jabs and great head movement Chris was able to secure the win.

Today was a great success!
Thank you to everyone who came out today to support us in buying a sausage sizzle or by donating. Every little bit gives our club the opportunity to take some pressure off the families and members of our community who are wanting to become boxers but also helps towards travel with far away tournaments.

Today our youth took full control of the bbq from setting up,cooking and serving customers. All of the boys done a fantastic job in every aspect and they are keen to do it again.

Today was made possible with the awesome donation of sausages and bread from the incredible team at Mataura Butcher Shop.

During the month of july we competed in the Southland boxing tournament. Although our athletes didn’t get the result they were hoping for,we came close with 2 being lost by split decision.

We are extremely proud of everyone who got in and gave it their all. We have alot to work on and have made adjustments leading up to our next tournament in Timaru on the 22nd of august.
