Burts Horse Trail Ride A guided horse trek over Farm and/or through Forest. 3+ hr ride incl. a lunch stop $50 Adult $25 Youth. NB : Horse not provided. BYO Horse šŸ“.

BETWEEN THEIR EARS : Welcome to "Burts Horse Trail Ride" . We are situated in the sunny Bay of Plenty. We host a guided trek over our farm and through our forest. You will need your own horse, lunch and a drink. We expect the trail to be 3.5 hours long approximately ( including approx. 20 minutes lunch stop ) over easy undulating terrain travelling at trekking pace. Horses need to have a reasonabl

e level of fitness. This trek requires a medium level of ability/experience. Adult $50 and Youth $25 ( If under 16 years old you must be accompanied by an Adult ). Burtā€™s Horse Trail Ride :

Where we cater to all shapes and sizes.
We are situated in the sunny Bay of Plenty and want to invite you to join us for the forest ride this Sunday 13th SEPTEMBER.
Itā€™s a lovely ride that heads off from our farm paddocks and through predominantly our forest. Itā€™s a good workout but gentle and in saying that we only ride at trekking pace so wonderful for young horses; any horses for surešŸ“
If youā€™re a first timer we are situated in the Bay of Plenty.
You turn off SHW2 onto Mimiha Rd and follow the orange arrows to the end of our road where you will see the sign ā€œBurtā€™s Trail Rideā€ .
Drive up this road.
You will then see the 2WD/4WD sign before the small hill. Please park to the right of this sign on the grass if you are a 2WD or worried about getting up the hill. Saddle up and ride over and meet us on the other side if you donā€™t drive over. We ride out at 10am (but please be ready at 9:45am for a debrief) and should be back 1:30ish pm.
Remember your lunch and a drink.
We canā€™t wait to host you all.

SUNDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER šŸŒ¼
Situated in the sunny BOP, approximately 30km West of Matata.
We pride ourselves on making our trekkers happy.
Our ride is at trekking pace and caters for all calibre of rider and any type of horse.
Itā€™s a lovely ride that heads off over our farm paddocks (see photos) and through predominantly our forest.
Itā€™s a good workout but gentle so wonderful for young green horses, problem horses or riders who are a bit rusty .
If youā€™re a first timer we are situated in the Bay of Plenty. You turn off SHW2 onto Mimiha Rd and follow the orange arrows to the end of our road where you will see the sign ā€œBurtā€™s Trail Rideā€ . Drive up this road. You will then see the 2WD/4WD sign before the small hill. Please park to the right of this sign on the grass IF YOU ARE 2WD or worried about getting up the hill. Saddle up and ride over and meet us on the other side if you donā€™t drive over. We ride out at 10am (but please be ready at 9:45am for a debrief) and should be back 1:30ish pm. Remember your lunch and a drink.

We had to cancel our August ride due to an isolated weather bomb so we are hanging out for our September ride:
