MHSC MUSTANGS GO DOWN IN A CLOSE FINAL
Congratulations Te Awamutu Sport Lions winning the 2023/24 Waikato Men Title.
MHSC Mustangs finished second with a 5 -7 loss in the final against Te Awamutu Lions.
Mustang of the Match (MOM) was defensive Mid-fielder Ronin Stephenson, congratulation Ronin.
The MHSC Mustangs will have the Autumn and Winter off and return in the spring for a new campaign.

As the Waikato Lacrosse men's season comes to a close, the top 2 teams get ready for the big dance. On Wednesday night at 7PM Te Awamutu Sports Lacrosse will take on Matangi Hillcrest Lacrosse for one final battle.

The Mustangs finish the regular season tied for points with the Lions but their goal difference of 27 pushes them up top.

Matangi-Hillcrest Mustangs and the Te Awamutu Lions met 3 times in the regular seasons each taking 1 win and a draw once bringing to one final chance to take the glory.

Will the Mustangs add to the demanding high-scoring season to finish the season on a high or will Te Awamutu find strength in their home soil and take charge?

Head to Albert Park in Te Awamutu to see the season come to an end.
