For those local fans staying in town tomorrow afternoon, the Fez Kebab All Stars are in Waikato Cup action. They face the tough challenge of a match against Claudelands Stallions.

We are pleased to welcome Mario Ramos to the Swifts.

Mario joined the Swifts last week, and made his debut during last Saturday's home game against West Hamilton. A technically strong midfielder, with an excellent engine and superb vision, Mario already looks at home in the Swifts' engine room.

Mario will be well known to many young Swifts as a coach with the Ginga Futsal Academy, which runs programmes in our community. He is another Swift that local youngsters can watch and aspire to emulate, while also working with to help improve their game.

As well as an excellent footballer, Mario is also a top level futsal player. During the 2026 Ford Futsal SuperLeague (New Zealand's national futsal league) he was a member of the champion Auckland City Football Club side.
