Thanks to everyone who came along to our first day of the series and braved the morning showers. The weather turned out to be much better than anticipated, with the sun coming out around midday.☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped on the gate, picked up poles, and assisted throughout the day. I couldn't have done it without your support. Thanks to our amazing Judge Kim Sterling and writer Sarah AndMatt Watts for soldiering on through the day, without breaks 😅

Thank you also to all of our sponsors for your very generous prizes . There were some very happy prize winners thanks to your generosity.
And, of course, thank you to all the riders and supporters for helping make it such a positive and enjoyable day.

Hi all,
We have two options for a warm-up area for our riders tomorrow, depending on how much rain we get overnight. I've been busy shovelling pumice sand today 🤣 to make sure your horses have good footing.

Warm-up Option 1: Beside the main arena (to the right).

Warm-up Option 2: By the stables in the dressage arena, approximately a 45-second ride away.

For those wanting more reliable footing and planning to jump at the higher heights, the dressage arena will likely be your best option.
Please note: To access the dressage arena, you'll need to leave the oval and follow the path beside the Smiths' car park. If your horse is spooky, fresh, or a little excited, you may prefer to use the oval warm-up jumps instead, or head over to the dressage arena with a friend.

I’ve added a video for those that haven’t been to the Country Park. Omaha flats Rd - Entrance 2 . Once you reach the Oval you need to park as close as you can to the right hand side of the fence to allow other floats to pass. The grass in the oval is already wet, so please no riding on the oval area at all. We have a couple of options for a warm up that will be in the next post.
